"Whenever young documentary film-makers ask me how they can 'make a difference', I reply that it is really quite simple. They need to break the silence." - John Pilger

NEW RULERS OF THE WORLD

From Black Diamond. A documentary by JOHN PILGER. “This appropriate comment was made by Nadir John9 years ago: The Rulers of the World, of the beast who would build a paradise of stone; “their luxury is bitter and their beauty is depraved. And their luxury is deception and their trees are godlessness and their fruit is deadly poison and their promise is death”. “

About The New Rulers of the World: “The myths of globalisation have been incorporated into much of our everyday language. “Thinking globally” and “the global economy” are part of a jargon that assumes we are all part of one big global village, where national borders and national identities no longer matter. But what is globalisation? And where is this global village? In 2001, John Pilger made ‘The New Rulers of the World’, a film exploring the impact of globalisation. It took Indonesia as the prime example, a country that the World Bank described as a ‘model pupil’ until its ‘globalised’ economy collapsed in 1998.”

911 TRILLIONS: FOLLOW THE MONEY

Forget for one moment everything you’ve been told about September 11, 2001. 9/11 was a crime. And as with any crime, there is one overriding imperative that detectives must follow to identify the perpetrators: Follow the money. This is an investigation of the 9/11 money trail.

911 WHISTLEBLOWERS

“But someone would have talked,” say the self-styled skeptics who believe the government’s official conspiracy theory of 9/11. But there’s a problem with this logically fallacious non-argument. “Someone” did talk. In fact, numerous people have come out to blow the whistle on the events of September 11, 2001, and the cover-up that surrounds those events. These are the stories of the 9/11 Whistleblowers.

1984

Nineteen Eighty-Four: A Novel, often referred to as 1984, is a dystopian social science fiction novel by English novelist George Orwell. It was published on 8 June 1949 by Secker & Warburg as Orwell’s ninth and final book completed in his lifetime. Thematically, Nineteen Eighty-Four centres on the consequences of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and repressive regimentation of persons and behaviours within society. Orwell, himself a democratic socialist, modelled the authoritarian government in the novel after Stalinist Russia. More broadly, the novel examines the role of truth and facts within politics and the ways in which they are manipulated.

The story takes place in an imagined future, the year 1984, when much of the world has fallen victim to perpetual war, omnipresent government surveillance, historical negationism, and propaganda. Great Britain, known as Airstrip One, has become a province of a totalitarian superstate named Oceania that is ruled by the Party who employ the Thought Police to persecute individuality and independent thinking. Big Brother, the leader of the Party, enjoys an intense cult of personality despite the fact that he may not even exist. The protagonist, Winston Smith, is a diligent and skillful rank-and-file worker and Outer Party member who secretly hates the Party and dreams of rebellion. He enters into a forbidden relationship with a colleague, Julia, and starts to remember what life was like before the Party came to power.

Nineteen Eighty-Four has become a classic literary example of political and dystopian fiction. It also popularised the term “Orwellian” as an adjective, with many terms used in the novel entering common usage, including “Big Brother”, “doublethink”, “Thought Police”, “thoughtcrime”, “Newspeak”, “memory hole”, “2 + 2 = 5”, “proles”, “Two Minutes Hate”, “telescreen”, and “Room 101”. Time included it on its 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to 2005. It was placed on the Modern Library’s 100 Best Novels, reaching No. 13 on the editors’ list and No. 6 on the readers’ list. In 2003, the novel was listed at No. 8 on The Big Read survey by the BBC. Parallels have been drawn between the novel’s subject matter and real life instances of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and violations of freedom of expression among other themes.

NGOS ARE THE DEEP STATE’S TROJAN HORSE

The Trojan horse was the earliest recorded military psyop. That psyop continues to be deployed on unsuspecting populations and it is just as useful as ever, but today’s tricksters have donned the mantle of philanthropy, and their Trojan horses are not wooden statues but non-governmental organizations offering “aid” to foreign nations. In today’s edition of The Corbett Report, we’ll learn about how NGOs are the deep state’s Trojan horses.

NGOS, THE PENTAGON, AND THE HUMAN RIGHTS INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

The following interview conducted by James Corbett expands on some of the issues raided in our report and also looks at the psychology behind the expensive PR campaigns we are seeing today, which are designed to nudge public perception and opinion on western ‘humanitarian’ military interventions and covert wars…

Patrick Henningsen of 21st Century Wire joins us today to discuss his recent article on “Smart Power & The Human Rights Industrial Complex.” Topics discussed include the NGO/State Dept/Pentagon/NATO nexus, the use of human rights as a perception management tool to demonise NATO enemies, and the complicity of the media in reporting these stories uncritically.

NOBLE LIE

A NOBLE LIE is the only full-length documentary from 2011 that addresses and answers many of the questions people have
asked about the 1995 Oklahoma bombings. The man accused was Timothy McVeigh. However, McVeigh was a mind-controlled patsy for sinister forces within the U.S. government. They wanted to use this event as a pretext to finally pass Bill Clinton’s Anti-Terrorism bill, which would not have passed without something of this magnitude. Problem – Reaction – Solution.

NOBODY’S CHILDREN

That’s a great and accurate dipiction of the way things work for this population at that time 1975 and yet here we are in 2014 and still same thing happens except it’s 40 years later….4 decades later and this population of people and their families are being exploited and broken up, but are not being supported. They should be supported in the community as a whole and not broken up the way the state does, when it goes after the sick kids, now they go after cancer, autism, asthma, social workers just hunt Sick Kids Hospitals looking for working class parents that cannot afford to spend thoiusands on lawyers….then they bully parents on treatment options….the laws are scary out there now. They must be challenged and changed for parents rights to their kids rights back. Times are a changing Thanks for making a great and accurate documentary I lived about 3 blocks from a place like that growing up, on Lake Ontario. Frequently patients tried to swim away. Sad stories there. 1975 too!

NOD AND WINK

In A Nod and a Wink, John Pilger demonstrates how the charge of conspiracy is being used as a means of political suppression in Britain, comparing this with statutes in police states such as Brazil and the Soviet Union, which use “a vague law” to silence and imprison people for their political or religious views.

Committing or contemplating committing a trivial civil wrong such as trespass can become the criminal offence of conspiracy if at least two people are involved. According to one English judge, conspiracy can amount to “a nod and a wink”.

Peter Hain, a Young Liberal and South African exile – later to become a Labour MP – is seen being carried away by police while taking part in an anti-apartheid demonstration at a tennis match in 1969. Three years later, he was convicted at the Old Bailey on a charge of conspiracy to trespass and fined £200. “They would not have been able to get me on ‘trespass’ on its own without sticking ‘conspiracy’ in front of it,” Hain explains.

Pilger then highlights the case of Shrewsbury building workers who went on strike in 1973 to protest against the use of non-union labour and its acceptance of dangerous work conditions, resulting in pickets being charged with conspiracy to intimidate and imprisoned.

Cases where conspiracy charges have failed include those against a contact magazine distributor after a case under the Obscene Publications Act was dismissed and Welsh-language demonstrators previously in court accused of being equipped to cause criminal damage, carrying a roll of Sellotape and two glass cutters.

Pilger concludes: “The laws of conspiracy are still being used in this country. They’re used to intimidate and silence all kinds of dissent.”

NONE DARE CALL IT CONSPIRACY

In 1971, Allen co-wrote a book titled None Dare Call It Conspiracy with Larry Abraham. It was prefaced by U.S. Representative John G. Schmitz of California’s 35th congressional district, the nominee of the American Independent Party in the 1972 U.S. presidential election). It sold more than four million copies during the 1972 presidential campaign opposing Richard Nixon and U.S. Senator George S. McGovern.

In this book, Allen and Abraham assert that the modern political and economic systems in most developed nations are the result of a sweeping conspiracy by the Establishment’s power elite, for which he also uses the term Insiders. According to the authors, these Insiders use elements of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto to forward their socialist/communist agenda:

1 – Establish an income tax system as a means of extorting money from the common man;

2 – Establish a central bank, deceptively named so that people will think it is part of the government;

3 – Have this bank be the holder of the national debt;

4 – Run the national debt, and the interest thereon, sky high through wars (or any sort of deficit spending), starting with World War I.

He quotes the Council on Foreign Relations as stating in its 1959 No. 7 study on behalf of the United States Senate: “The U.S. must strive to: A. Build a new international order.
